Surplus of Industrial Circuit Breakers Put to Good Use
Noted Westporter Ed Kahn founded Electric Control Equipment more than 60 years ago. His vision was to take advantage of the huge amount of surplus switchgear left over from WWII, by supplying industrial circuit breakers and electrical equipment to all major industrial users and utilities.
As the United States' industrial base flourished after the war, Ed found himself selling electrical equipment and remanufactured used switchgear throughout the country. With a foundation based on a commitment to quality, a complete understanding of customer needs and a devotion to customer service, Ed’s idea became a huge success.
